This course provides an advanced fieldwork experience that enables students to integrate occupational therapy evaluation, intervention, and clinical reasoning skills across diverse practice settings and populations. Under supervision, students conduct occupational performance evaluations, analyze findings, establish priorities and goals, and design, implement, and modify person-centered, occupation-based, and evidence-informed intervention plans. Students apply skills in documentation, outcome measurement, client and family education, and interdisciplinary communication and collaboration. Emphasis is placed on developing clinical reasoning, problem-solving, professional decision-making, and progressively increasing responsibility and independence in occupational therapy service delivery. |
