This course addresses the knowledge base for occupational therapy practice in pediatrics. It discusses the foundational theories the occupational therapists use to explain children's occupational performance. It also introduces the development of childhood occupations in infancy, early childhood, and middle childhood. The course addresses the common diagnoses in pediatrics practice and the occupational therapy evaluation, treatment planning and implementation processes.
