This course focuses on training students to evaluate the upper extremities in terms of movement, muscle strength, sensory examinations, and the use of various physical agent modalities in treating the upper extremities. This course also focuses on how to fabricate different splints and how to choose the appropriate splinting materials based on several factors including the injured person, the type of injury, the nature of the treatment and surgery required, the appropriate and available materials, and other factors. |
