Steps of research methodology are discussed throughout the course. This course addresses the professional nurse as a researcher and a user of research results. The content of this course aims at upgrading the learner's ability to differentiate between ways of knowing facts with emphasis on how a scientific inquiry aids are building a knowledge base for the nursing profession. Students are introduced to the research procedures with stress on the development of critical appraisal skills and the use of nursing research findings in problem-solving and practice settings. |
