This course focuses on simultaneously interpreting dialogues from French into Arabic and vice-versa. Students practice interpreting telephone calls, meetings, and interviews. This course provides opportunities for students to apply their knowledge, skills, and experience in various interpreting settings including tour guiding, business, public travel agencies, and freelance interpreting. Students participate in supervised interpreting field work and receive feedback and guidance from mentor interpreters.
