Course Discription : The concepts of mental health, illness, and the cultural attitudes towards mental health patient are addressed. Special emphases are placed on the development of interpersonal skills, communication skills, and group processes. The course is based on a holistic and humanistic framework, emphasizing critical thinking, caring, and therapeutic nursing interventions. Nursing process forms the foundation of decision-making and encompasses all significant actions taken by nurses in providing relevant mental health care to all clients.
