This course serves as a foundational introduction to the science of strength training and physical conditioning. It establishes the student's understanding of the fundamental principles of resistance training and the correct mechanics for each individual exercise. The techniques you will learn for each exercise are based on the mechanical, anatomical, and physiological principles of the targeted joints and muscles, enabling you to build a foundation of safe, targeted, and scientifically sound training based on converging evidence.
