Lab will include hands on training on the proper way of applying physical therapy modalities on different body parts and their indication and contraindication. Laboratory sessions will provide instruction and training in the application of electrical and acoustic agents for the management of pain, dysfunction, impaired muscle performance, range of motion limitations, and the delivery of medications. Emphasis will also be placed on the fundamentals of aseptic techniques, infection control, and standard precautions in clinical practice. A problem solving approach with an emphasis on evidence based practice will be utilized throughout this lab. |
