The course provides the skills and Knowledge base for: the assessment of diagnosis of mental disorders utilizing the DSM classification system and counseling intervention for each of the major mental disorders, knowledge covered for each mental disorder includes basic psychopathology, DSM diagnostic criteria, theories of etiology, (research of prevention and treatment, conducting intake interview, formulating a five-axis diagnosis and making differential diagnosis. |
