This course includes the concept of handicrafts, their classification in terms of materials and their types, ways of developing them, and the identification of local materials used in traditional handicrafts. Integrating technology in shaping with different materials in the field of two and three dimensions, and the synthesis of natural and manufactured materials such as wood, metal, leather, threads, stones, sand, etc., through training in designing and producing items that the student implements by experimenting with various materials to produce heritage and innovative models in various fields such as textiles, mosaics or glass inlaid in plaster, wood, and metal; such as wires, sheets, and other models that represent original heritage in modern style. |
