This course introduces student to pediatric dentistry including clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment planning of dental problems in children, common oral pathologies in children and theories of occlusal development, preventive and conservative treatment in children and pulp therapy. Pre-clinical component includes: patient examination, radiographic assessment and treatment planning, record keeping, aspects of preventive and conservative dentistry in primary teeth, pulp therapy in primary teeth. |
