These series of courses introduce students to the application of knowledge and skills in research methodology introduced to them in research methodology and biostatistics (Evidence based dentistry and practice the utilization of search engines, critically review articles and write abstracts). The students are required to choose a hypothesis, writing a research proposal and test it through a small pilot research project. The students are required at least to present their term paper then submit it. On course 1 student are required to prepare a research proposal in a medical field under supervision. In course 2 students are required to present proof of research results. In course 3 students are required to submit a term paper for evaluation and should include all elements of research paper (Abstract, literature review, material and methods, result, discussion and conclusion). Students will also have seminars on different aspects of research methodology |
