Course Discription : This course introduce student to knowledge about basic epidemiology, research methodology, and basic ethical principles. This course will enable them to develop research skills such as reviewing literature and design a research proposal. Student are introduced to evidence based dentistry and practice the utilization of search engines, critically review articles and write abstracts). Students will also gain a basic understanding of descriptive and commonly used inferential statistics.
