This course introduces second year dental students to basic and advanced knowledge of head and neck anatomy in the context of normal functional organization and common clinical conditions. With focus on skeletal structures, muscles of the head and neck region and neurovascular supply. It also introduces students to all stages of head and neck development and related abnormalities. Students will also learn relevant neuroanatomy to help them integrate related concepts and to understand the relationship between anatomical structures and their functions, and its clinical aspects. And effectively use anatomical terminology confidently. |
