This course will enable students to develop an understanding of the structure and function of the human body. The course demonstrates the regulatory mechanisms of the human body, and the physiological integration of the organ systems to maintain homeostasis. First, this course describes the cellular communication, basic cell functions in relation to cell structure, and the structure and function of major systems including nervous, respiratory and cardio-vascular systems.
