This course deals with the basic concepts associated with academic learning difficulties in general and the most important difficulties related to learning mathematics, such as: difficulties in learning numerical concepts and their representation (whole numbers, regular fractions, mixed numbers), patterns of errors and how to address them, and difficulties in learning operations on numbers, as well as difficulties in learning the concepts of Euclidean geometry and measurement. and how to treat it. And to identify the behavioral and cognitive characteristics of those with special difficulties, the explanatory frameworks and the factors contributing to each of those difficulties, and the educational methods of treatment for those difficulties. |
