Course Discription : This course deals with the concept of writing, its foundations and skills for the first three grades, the concept of dictation and its importance, purposes, types and methods of teaching each type. Methods of correcting dictation errors and methods of treatment. The concept of written expression, its outcomes of teaching and learning, its types, method of teaching each type, and evaluating students’ performance. The concept of calligraphy and its importance, outcomes, methods of teaching calligraphy, evaluating students' performance, ways of improving it, and the relationship of writing with other language skills.
