The School Experience Practicum is considered a practical module and envisioned to be an embracing umbrella that integrates the theoretical themes of the two subjects (pedagogy of learning and teaching, and subject didactics) into practical school experience along with the theoretical topics acquired in this module.
This practicum consists of one School Experience Practicum hosted by schools working in partnership with the university.
The length of this practicum is 10 weeks. This practicum includes two weeks for assessment purposes against the Teachers’ Standards.
Academic Reading and Writing (AcRW) is not a module but a crucial component of the Pre-Service Teacher Education Program. It aims at developing the academic reading and writing skills through variety of resources, face to face sessions, information sheets, instructional videos, and much more. |
