Course Discription : The structure of this course is designed to provide a sound working knowledge of the money and capital markets within the context of a modern financial system. Topics include an overview of the financial system, financial assets pricing, financial transactions, interest rates determination, risk structure of interest rates, and interest rates forecasting and hedging. Especial emphasis would be provided toward the purposes, functions, and operations of financial institutions, instruments, financial markets, money markets and central banking.
