This course is an introduction to applied econometrics. Econometrics is the application of statistical techniques to the analysis of economic questions. In this course, we will use real world examples and data to give you some powerful insights into economic, environmental, and development issues. It is meant to be useful and hands-on. You will learn how to use a statistical package (Stata) to do those analyses in class, in your senior thesis, and in your subsequent professional life. |
