Course Discription : This module provides students with theoretical knowledge and understanding of key selected topics in credit management within the banking systems. In addition, it familiarizes students with selected empirical issues and methods of analysis used in the banks' credit departments and introduce the key principles of credit management and their importance to banks. It also provide students with a solid grounding in issues of credit such as the types of credit facilities/credit line/credit packages and a description of the credit officer main functions and the way they operate in banks.
