This course discusses the basics and concepts of specialized financial institutions , which including the commercial banks , investment banking services , brokerage services , mutual funds , insurance companies , pension funds and credit unions .To understand the process of specialized financial institutions, it is required acknowledge the role of financial markets and institutions , their sources and uses and their financial statement analyses.
