This course ensures that the student is familiarized with intellectual property rights in general as they are regulated in Jordanian legislation and international conventions, with special emphasis on basic intellectual property rights, which include copyright and related rights. This module also talks about industrial and commercial property rights, which include trademarks, patents, industrial designs and models, trade secrets and other industrial and commercial property subjects.
It also includes introducing the student to international developments in this field, especially the international conventions regulating intellectual property rights.
