The goal of this course is provide students with in-depth understanding of the concept of qualitative research, its goals, and strategies. Students will be provided with theoretical and practical experiences in how to conduct qualitative research through identifying the research problem, selecting proper methodology, selecting study’s sample, prepare proposal, collecting and recording and analyzing qualitative data, writing findings and discuss it, and using computer software in analyzing such data. Further, students will discuss the concepts of validity and reliability in qualitative research. Course will provide previous qualitative studies, and provide students with practical experience in conducting qualitative research and ethical considerations. |
