This course deals with management concepts and applications in the field of special education, including appropriate leadership skills and how to make effective management decisions for special education programs. It also includes identifying the mechanism for the preparation and evaluation of special education programs, and how to select staff. In addition to selecting and following up the implementation of appropriate educational programs for the varieties of special education groups, and coordination with families and local authorities related to people with disabilities or gifted. This course deals with developing plans for the development of the staff working in these programs, develop educational programs, and make the most of the sources of financial and human support. This course focuses on the laws, and regulations related to the provision of special education services in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The course focuses on the visits to a distinguished special education centers and programs and conduct interviews with their departments, and the development of skills to identify the strengths and challenges facing these centers and to develop plans to develop them and address these challenges.
