This course discuses collaboration and partnership between special education specialists, families, local community agencies, and other agencies working in the field of special education in order to provide the best services for children with disabilities. Students will be provided with knowledge, skills, strategies allow them to communicate with families and investigate the effect of disability on them financially, social, and psychologically. The course aims at highlighting the effect of family factors on services provided for children with disabilities such as parenting skills, parents’ level of education, and family size. |
