This course aims at identifying the concept of educational programs, the basis of curricula for children with disabilities and gifted ones, and the basis of planning for the curricula and principles on which it is based. Further, the course aims at identifying strategies for developing curricula and individual developmental educational programs for people with disabilities for the category of mental disability, hearing impairment, visual impairment, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, communication disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. In addition, students should be trained on how to design educational materials and writing goals and analysis in accordance with the method of task analysis, and divide them according to tests with individual and group standards. Students will be trained on the assembly and the development of educational strategies and the selection of educational materials and help the writing of educational goals through the identification of strengths and weaknesses to develop individualized educational plans and training on how to design strategies. Modern trends and issues in developing developmental and educational programs in special education will be discussed. |
