This course provides a comprehensive overview of the development of embryos, from fertilization to the formation of tissues, organs, and organ systems. Students will study the stages of embryonic development, including gametogenesis, fertilization, cleavage, gastrulation, and organogenesis, with a focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate these processes. The course also explores congenital abnormalities, teratogens, and the impact of environmental factors on development. |
