This subject introduces the transition services and its’ aims before, within and after education levels upon individual abilities and needs. It clarifies the transition from special need education services to achieving the best possible level of independency and merging within society. It introduces samples of the transition programs like OSPES: focuses on employing; Halpern: it focuses on adjusting and merging in society; Brown & Kyser: focuses on matching between needs of individual and environment and the occupational model focuses on introducing the work fields. |
