The Hematopoietic and Lymphatic System is a 4-credit hour integrated basic science course that introduces students to the main structures and functions of the hematopoietic system and discusses several disease processes including anemia, bleeding disorders, blood infections, immunodeficiency, and hematological malignancies. In addition, the course allows medical students to explore up-to-date pharmacotherapy of blood disorders. |
