(180703781) Advanced Pediatric Nursing (1): 3 CH (3+0)
Caring of children from conception through adolescence and their families is stressed throughout this course. Special emphases are placed on health promotion and maintenance within the framework of the family. Preventive, educational and treatment approaches for normal and common variations in growth and development are studied. Students will be trained in primary care settings, acute, community, and rehabilitation settings (e.g. health centers, hospitals, day-care, schools, adolescent centers, and newborn nursery).
