Using on theories and models of system analysis and design, evaluating the system from
a standpoint of effect on patient care, nursing profession, and organizational objectives and strategic plans; working with a clinical system department to understand the implementation and evaluation of a clinical system application in nursing and heath care; identifying the information requirements and to evaluate the information output of the system; and participating in the planning, implementation or evaluation phase of an informatics project in nursing and health care.
