Fundamental and advanced concepts of nursing informatics, applications of information technology in nursing and health care, technology issues and adoption, and theoretical foundation for information management; the role of the nurse informatician in managing health information and the ethical use of information in the health care industry; the use of computers for documentation in clinical settings and on investigating and evaluating web-based applications in nursing and health care.
