This course is designed to teach students how to carry out the various activities involved in writing a seminar paper. These activities include: (1) selecting a topic to write about, (2) using the library for research purposes, quoting & paraphrasing, (4) working out a research outline, (5) summarizing main ideas and taking notes, (6) writing the research paper, and finally documenting sources and reference materials. |
