This course provides a survey of the first literary works by Blake and Wordsworth until today. The course introduces the Romantic Movement and the most important works by Keats, Shell, Byron, Coleridge, Wordsworth, Blake and others during the Romantic transformation period, specifically between 1798 and 1832. The course also focuses on the Victorian literature and important authors of that period such as Tennyson and Mathew. Moreover, it introduces the leading writers of the Edwardian period, such as Forster, Virginia Woolf, as well as W.B Yeats, and T.S. Eliot. It briefly highlights some modern works like Harold Pinter works. |
