This course tackles the literature of the time and looks at the effect of the Arab political and social retardation on this art of writing. Emphasis is laid on the encyclopedic compilation, the poetry topics, poetry styles and levels of quality. Examples of some literary prose and poetry will be discussed as part of this course. |
