This course equips the students with the basic practical knowledge regarding concepts and techniques to select, design, install, and maintain different irrigation systems with the complete set of accessories and parts. The students will be introduced to the major types of irrigation systems, including surface, drip, and sprinkler systems. The students will get the knowledge on the components for the irrigation systems. Irrigation systems and their interactions with the environment, irrigation efficiencies, irrigation water quality, and different types of fertigation are among the topics that will be covered in this course. |
