The course clarifies the manufacturing of pottery since Neolithic Period till late Islamic Periods. It gives a full description of forms and characteristics of pottery vessels for each period, centers of manufacturing as well as artistic elements and surface treatment used, that is in addition to the use of pottery in dating.
