The purpose of this course is to provide the students with a life research experience. During this course the students will work with faculty members on a research project, giving the students the opportunity to actively participate with faculty members in innovative research experiences. This course is expected to bridge the gab between theoretical presentation of research course given earlier to the students and the real application of a research project that will allow them to better relate the scientific method of discovery to clinical practice. Each student will work with his/her faculty mentor on aspects of a project of mutual interest. |
