:
The primary purpose of this course is to help the student understand the role of nutrition and changes in nutritional requirements that occur throughout stages of the life cycle including pregnancy and lactation, infancy, adolescence, and aging. To adequately understand these changes, it is necessary to study the biochemical, physiological, and psychological processes that influence nutritional needs.
