Course Discription |

This course aims to provide the students with the basic information about the physical and chemical properties for macromolecules (carbohydrate, lipids and proteins) and their function in the biological system. The metabolism of carbohydrate, proteins, triglycerides, cholesterol and phospholipids will also be studied. In addition, it concerns with explanation of energy production and oxidative phosphorylation reactions. |
