An overview of the history and current application of laws and rules used to protect the environment, the economic effects of environmental policies nationally and globally. Particular issues include the costs and benefits of alternative environmental policies to deal with air pollution, water quality, toxic substances, solid waste, air pollution and global warming in the context of environmental sustainability. |
