This course includes a historical introduction dealing with the definition of prosody, the founder of this science, and the topics and issues it deals with. Then, the course introduces the terminology of prosodic as well as its relevant calligraphy, Zahaf, weak letters, poetry meters, and rhymes science. Moreover, the course introduces how the Arabic poetry rhymes were broken in past and how they can be broken in the present and how they can be renewed.
