This course provides an advanced fieldwork experience that enables students to develop and integrate occupational therapy evaluation, intervention, and clinical reasoning skills across diverse practice settings and client populations. Under supervision, students conduct comprehensive occupational performance evaluations, analyze assessment findings, establish priorities and goals, and design, implement, and modify person-centered, occupation-based, and evidence-informed intervention plans. Students also apply skills in documentation, outcome measurement, client and family education, and communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Emphasis is placed on developing clinical reasoning, problem-solving, professional decision-making, and progressively increasing responsibility and independence in the delivery of safe and effective occupational therapy services |
