The course covers fundamental concepts used in therapeutic practice, including occupation, skills, and activity, with particular emphasis on the importance of purposeful activity in the therapeutic process. It develops students’ skills in identifying, analyzing, adapting, and designing therapeutic activities according to different diagnostic and individual needs. The practical component includes the use of arts and crafts and various assessment tools. Students gain hands-on experience in a range of craft activities and learn to analyze their components, therapeutic demands, and potential applications in occupational therapy practice. |
