The course addresses autism spectrum disorders from diagnosis through adulthood, the wide spectrum of autism disorders. History and current issues, related to assessment methods, diagnosis, and classification will also be investigated. A variety of educational theories and practices will also be explored. Finally, teaching strategies that meet the needs of these diverse learners will be reviewed. |
