This course deals with the curricula and methods used for special needs children in preschool stage. It concentrates on the special needs of infants, toddlers and preschoolers and assessment methods for early detection of significant delays, best practices for families' participation in "children at risk" programs. In addition, this course emphasizes on the selection, modification, and use of developmentally appropriate creative activities to facilitate development, enhance learning, and minimize the effect of disabilities. |
