About Faculty

Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood was established on the campus of the Hashemite University in 2002. It offers undergraduate programs of study leading to the bachelor's degree of Childhood Education and  in Special Education.  One of the main objectives of the Faculty is to equip Personnel professionally and ethically in order to ensure the safety and health of children and provide them with the appropriate learning environments.

The childhood programs aim at providing student teachers developmentally appropriate activities for infants,  toddlers, and preschool children,  in addition to enhancing their skills and capabilities in the area of childhood education and childcare. Student teachers will learn how to promote children's physical, cognitive, and communication skills. Student teachers complete a sequence of courses, including practicum courses reflecting the current training priorities. Moreover, the Faculty focuses on research and scientific studies in the field of early childhood and families to satisfy the specific needs of the Jordanian society.
