About Us
* The Financial Affairs Unit at the Hashemite University was established in 1992 to be responsible for all financial work at the university. Article (5) of the financial regulations in force at the Hashemite University stipulated the following: -
“The financial affairs unit at the university is the body responsible for all financial work in The university takes charge of collecting and collecting university funds and paying the financial obligations arising from it, in accordance with the university's law, regulations, instructions and decisions issued pursuant thereto.
The most important duties of the Financial Affairs Unit are the following: -
1. Carrying out the responsibility for appropriating, collecting and maintaining university funds.
2. Undertaking the responsibility of paying the university's financial obligations.
3. Preparing periodic, monthly and annual reports for the university's accounts.
4. Preparing the university budget project, its tables and data, and the schedule of administrative and academic job formations.
5. Preparing the necessary and various statistics to provide the university administration with them or the Higher Education Council for use in planning and development.
6. Implementation and control of spending from the university budget.
7. Coordination with the various government departments and public institutions, in order to collect university revenues or pay its obligations.
8. Full cooperation with various Jordanian universities in studying common financial matters and developing solutions to them in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and instructions.
9. Follow up on the implementation of the financial aspects of the agreements concluded by the university with foreign or international bodies, in a way that does not conflict with the university’s regulations and instructions in force.
10. Disbursing loans, grants, and financial aid to university students, and following up their repayment processes six months after the student’s graduation.
11. Cooperation and coordination between the university and the General Organization for Social Security, with regard to discounts for university employees who are subject to the social security system.
12. Applying the latest and most advanced accounting methods in implementing accounting procedures capable of improving the performance of employees and raising their competencies
