I am honored and proud to welcome you to Faculty of Dentistry at the Hashemite University (HU Dentistry) which is recently established in Zarqa governorate in 2023 as the 3rd public dental school to add to the sister faculties in Amman and Irbid as a fulfillment of the university’s vision to include a leading Faculty in Dental Education and Research at the local and international levels. 
I extend my deepest gratitude to the HU Trustee Council, Constituent Council, the HU Presidency and HU staff for their unwavering dedication and efforts which have culminated in this remarkable achievement. 

To graduate highly qualified dentists through innovative dental education, highest standards of patient-centered care with strong commitments to community engagement, diversity and inclusion are both a mission and point of excellence at the HU Dentistry. Personal development, professionalism, and the highest ethical standards are foundational elements of our mission. Our greater goal is to improve the health and well-being of community and to reflect the best values of our university and the country because we believe that our commitment to social accountability begins with a more inclusive Faculty.

We are entering an era where dentists have the science, technology, and skills to manage their patients’ oral health needs more effectively than ever before. Our innovative and forward-thinking DDS curriculum design is moving forward in this innovative frontier and is designed to provide high quality educational experience to dental students in a diverse learning environment that prepare graduates to compete in a diverse world market. 
In this context, we aim to develop standards for international accreditation of the DDS program based on the core principles of safe clinical protocols, technical proficiency, and measurable provision of quality dental services.

We aspire to achieve this while focusing on innovation, operational excellence, digital transformation, green dentistry all within a positive organizational culture and good governance. Our aim is to pave the way to create the new generation general Dental practitioners and specialists with exceptional advanced training and help transform our graduate students into accomplished and skilled compassionate professionals for a rapidly evolving health care system.
